Biological Activity

Nitrosoglutathione (GSNO) acts as an exogenous donor of nitric oxide and a substrate for the rat alcohol dehydrogenase class III isoenzyme, which obstructs angiotensin II-dependent and -independent AT1 receptor responses within the cerebrovascular system.
